Overview

This procedure reduces a number by a percentage. For example:

• Number: 100

• Percentage: 10%

• Reduction: 100 reduced by 10% = 90

Syntax

This procedure supports two different syntaxes.

Option 1

the num is {value}
the percentage is {percent}
reduce the num by the percentage

Option 2

reduce a number by a percentage where
  the num is {value}
  the percentage is {percent}
